Dreaming My Life Away

Dress, bag and shoes: Target
Cardigan: Urban
Belt: Thrifted
Socks: local dollar store

Is it just me or are polka dots everywhere now? I adore it! They just have something so timeless about them. This dress is a jersey material and it is so comfortable, I want to wear it all the time! And once I found these sock I knew the two were meant to be. The price was a plus. Who would have known that the dollar store had such cool socks?!

Anyways, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! The first half of mine was quite nice. I went to Pasadena with my Grandma on Saturday. We shopped, talked about how things where when she was young and ate macarons. She grew up in Argentina. Things seemed so much simpler back then. She said that on Saturdays girls would spend hours getting ready at the salons to go out and when they did it was just walking the main street with friends, occasionally watch a movie. I like hearing stories of her past. Sunday was a total change thou. I was sick and just not feeling well. So I slept, drank a lot of tea and watched American Dad to laugh the sickness way. I think it helped. Today I am feeling so much better!

(title is taken from Best Coast.)

Enjoy!

  1. Aww your day with your grandma sounds so lovely. It's great to spend time like that together. Things did seem so much easier back then. It's so crazy how much the world changes in such a short time!
I'm glad you are feeling better, but I'm the same way when I'm sick. I put myself on the couch with a heavy blanket, a shit-ton of snacks, and cartoons galore! :)

    1. It is! Grandmas always have the best stories! I cant wait until I am an old grandma and telling my grand-kids how we used you manually type everything and how we had the option to shop at an actual store for clothes haha.
When you are sick, that is simply the best thing to do! <3

  3. I'm so glad you found cool socks for $1! Last time I went and bought $1 socks, they were mens and they were 3094230948 sizes bigger! I'm pretty sure they were ankle socks but felt like knee high socks!

And I love the title, Best Coast is so great!

    Definitely following ;)
